Platform 161, a leading Dutch DSP for advertisers, agencies, and publishers, was facing sub-optimal match rates with key inventory providers after GDPR, especially with AppNexus. This limited its ability to scale buys and deliver campaigns for clients, and it turned to ID5 to improve cookie matching and buying capabilities with ID5 Connect.

ID5 implemented a migration to ID5 Connect, streaming match tables between Platform 161 and AppNexus UIDs so lookups could happen locally and in real time. As a result, Platform 161 increased its ability to bid on AppNexus impressions from less than 50% to more than 80%, delivering a 65% lift in bids and cutting cookie-matching infrastructure costs by more than 50%.
