Beaulieu Convent School in Jersey sought to modernize the cash-based system at its Café Beau, aiming to create a more efficient and stigma-free environment for students. The school partnered with vendor ICRTouch and its authorized partner, CheckOut EPoS Solutions, to implement a cashless EPoS solution utilizing TouchPoint tills and the TouchTopUp online payment system.

The solution involved installing two TouchPoint tills with RFID readers for proximity cards, enabling students to pay quickly and securely. ICRTouch's system centralized account balances, preventing loss of funds, and provided features for parental oversight and allergy restrictions. This implementation by ICRTouch eliminated the need for cash, sped up service, and created a more inclusive experience for all pupils.
