A iContact Case Study
The Triangle Land Conservancy, a local nonprofit that protects more than 45,000 Triangle-area acres (including 700 acres at the historic Horton Grove), needed help building and maintaining sustainable hiking access while protecting a sensitive and historically important site. iContact — specifically members of its Premium Services team — volunteered on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to support trail work and site stewardship.
iContact’s volunteers worked with TLC staff to clear debris, remove fallen trees, and construct new hiking trails using professional trail-building techniques designed to improve drainage and reduce erosion. The iContact team’s efforts produced new, sustainable paths and improved visitor access to Horton Grove’s historic quarters, leaving the site better maintained and more resilient to stormwater impacts.
