The University of Vermont (UVM) needed to better engage prospective and current students on social media while managing a steady flow of content ideas, student submissions, and timely posts with a very small team. To support that effort, UVM used Iconosquare’s analytics-first social media management platform to help track performance and inform its Instagram strategy.

With Iconosquare, UVM’s creative director monitored analytics, engagement, and reporting to identify which posts resonated most and to refine content planning and scheduling around the academic calendar. The approach helped UVM grow its Instagram following from 15K to more than 40K, drive an 80% increase in DMs during a student admissions campaign, and achieve a 13% engagement rate on feed posts, while also improving the quality and sentiment of its community engagement.
