Samsung Camera aimed to boost brand awareness and grow its Instagram following by running an 8‑week #LiveInTheMoment contest. To execute the campaign they partnered with Iconosquare, using Iconosquare’s marketing and analytics toolkit — including a customized responsive public page, a Facebook app and contest promotion services — and offered four Samsung NX300 cameras as prizes.

Iconosquare built and promoted the campaign (custom contest page, Facebook app with three entry methods, moderation tool and a dashboard with 60+ metrics), ran paid exposure (6 million leaderboard impressions, newsletter and daily email inserts, plus social posts) and provided ongoing monitoring. The campaign delivered 3,615 participants, 8,640 photos (60% Instagram, 30% Facebook app, 10% direct upload), 1,031,923 likes and a potential reach of 3,320,673 people, with daily notification emails to 15,000 users (25% average open rate) and additional social amplification — all facilitated by Iconosquare.
