ICON.net Limited was engaged by Unilever to improve key processes at its ice cream factory in Gloucester. The challenge was to enhance the management of visitors and the internal warehouse operations, requiring a modernized system for safety, monitoring, and efficient parts location.

The solution implemented by ICON.net consisted of two bespoke systems: a Visitor Management System (VMS) with touch screens and an Android room-booking app, and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) with a touch screen application and SAP integration. This allowed Unilever to better monitor on-site safety and enabled its warehouse team to locate any part item in the vast storage facilities in under two minutes, significantly improving operational efficiency.
