Waxhaw improves efficiency and government transparency with iCompass’ Meeting Manager Pro

The Town of Waxhaw, North Carolina, a rapidly growing suburb of Charlotte, was struggling with a time-consuming manual agenda process, last-minute document changes, and limited visibility into meeting information for both commissioners and the public. It turned to iCompass and its Meeting Manager Pro software to simplify agenda preparation and improve access to meeting materials.

With iCompass Meeting Manager Pro and the CivicWeb Portal, Waxhaw was able to drag and drop late changes, quickly update attachments, and publish meeting information to a public portal in real time. The town reported improved transparency, easier packet review for commissioners, and significant time and cost savings, with Town Clerk Melody Shuler saying the change was “the greatest thing we have done” and that “everyone loves it.”
