A iCohere Case Study
EMDR International Association, a professional association founded in 1995 with more than 4,000 members, faced rising barriers to conference attendance as it sought to diversify membership beyond private practitioners and meet demand for online learning and more flexible scheduling. To address cost and accessibility concerns for members working in nonprofits and agencies, EMDR International Association partnered with iCohere and adopted the iCohere Unified Learning System via a Revenue Share Partnership to pilot a hybrid annual conference.
iCohere implemented a hybrid event with live streaming webcasts, interactive chat rooms, and scheduled live speaker chats, supported by targeted marketing and a dedicated event webpage. The iCohere Revenue Share Program let EMDR International Association launch the eLearning program with minimal financial risk; the online conference expanded global reach, attracted new attendees, grew membership opportunities, generated additional sponsorship revenue, and increased engagement (chat activity reached as many as 1,000 comments in a single day).
