Vodafone Spain, a telecommunications company with over 3500 employees, faced challenges with high delays in check queues from their existing Nagios monitoring platform, which was also difficult to manage. They sought a robust monitoring solution to oversee their extensive IT infrastructure and turned to the Icinga monitoring platform.

By implementing Icinga2, Icinga provided Vodafone Spain with a high-availability environment that was easy to scale. The solution, which included a user-friendly web interface and compatibility with their custom scripts, now monitors over 1072 hosts and 17419 services across a distributed setup. Icinga successfully replaced the problematic legacy system, resolving the performance delays and management pain points.
