Magalu, a major Brazilian retail and e-commerce giant, needed a more comprehensive and analytical monitoring solution to support its rapid growth and digitalization strategy. Their large, heterogeneous IT infrastructure required a system that was light, adaptable, and provided better integration and proactivity than their previous tool. They chose to implement Icinga to achieve a uniform, business-oriented view of their operations.

With the help of partner SSYS Sistemas, Magalu implemented Icinga to monitor over 11,000 hosts and 43,000 services, including applications, servers, and databases. The solution provided high integrability and scalability, centralizing monitoring in their Network Operations Center for a holistic view. Icinga's success made it a backbone of Magalu's infrastructure, making their systems safer and more reliable, and supporting the company's continued exponential growth.
