Livesport s.r.o., a company in the Czech Republic, faced a challenge with scaling and managing the configuration of their IT monitoring. They were previously using Nagios and sought a more scalable and easily configurable solution, leading them to the vendor Icinga.

The solution implemented by Icinga provided a scalable distributed monitoring architecture to manage approximately 500 hosts and 5000 services. The clear configuration structure of Icinga allowed Livesport to program an automated system for generating configurations, which greatly simplified the management of complex service assignments. This resulted in a highly efficient and adaptable monitoring environment spread across multiple server locations.
