First Motorcycle Sharing Service in Russia launches moto-sharing app with IceRock and reaches 810 rentals

The customer, the first motorcycle sharing service in Russia, faced the challenge of creating a convenient and safe platform for motorcycle test rides and rentals to build a positive image of motorcycling as a viable alternative to cars. IceRock was engaged to develop a comprehensive solution to simplify registration and ensure the safety of both clients and equipment.

IceRock developed an integrated system comprising an administrative panel, a mobile app for iOS and Android using Kotlin Multiplatform, and a telematics module for data collection. This solution enabled real-time monitoring of motorcycles and a scoring system to assess driver reliability. The results were significant, with over 1,000 app downloads and 810 test-ride or rental applications processed during a successful test phase, successfully launching Russia's first moto-sharing service.
