First Community Mortgage, a Murfreesboro, TN lender with five locations and more than 100 correspondent and wholesale partners, wanted to streamline and automate communication with brokers to boost productivity, save time and strengthen TPO relationships. Their prior portal lacked control, had a non‑intuitive interface and slow uploads that forced partners to split files and delayed submissions.
FCM adopted TPO Connect, using personas, configurable business rules and a drag‑and‑drop interface so partners can only submit complete packages and register loans quickly. The new workflow and improved pipeline visibility cut partner submission time by 5–10 minutes per loan, reduced time from loan initiation to submittal from seven days to three, and contributed six days to an overall cycle‑time reduction (FCM’s cycle time fell from 35 to 19 days). The result: faster processing, better pipeline management and stronger TPO relationships.
