TruHome Solutions, a Lenexa, KS-based mortgage services provider that delivers private‑labeled origination-to‑servicing solutions for 40 credit unions across 26 states, had tripled in size since first deploying Encompass in 2009. Leadership commissioned an Ellie Mae Health Check to confirm that their original Encompass configuration still fit the much larger business, and to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, testing, change tracking and overall system performance.
Ellie Mae’s consultant conducted onsite interviews and a system review, then delivered a prioritized report with quick wins and longer projects. TruHome has already reduced persona counts (from about 150 to ~100), begun streamlining program and closing‑cost templates, used the business rule analyzer to assess change impact, and deactivated unused custom calculations—resulting in significant time and staffing savings, lower latency, and better utilization of Encompass tools, plus a checklist for ongoing optimization.
