Newton Energy Group, through its ENELYTIX cloud platform, runs computationally intensive power market and gas-pipeline simulations that generate large CSV output sets. They engaged icCube to solve a specific reporting challenge: integrate with AWS, scale as simulation volumes grow, ingest CSV/flat-file outputs directly, and let industry analysts explore results natively in Excel.

icCube implemented an embedded analytics stack using its fast backup/restore and Partitioning module to keep AWS servers shut down until needed, quickly load new simulation output into existing Cubes without pre-processing, and expose results via PivotTables, PivotCharts and PowerMap in Excel. The solution enabled rapid server activation, seamless scaling with on-demand AWS resources, timely delivery that met project deadlines, and “incredibly happy” customers while avoiding extra ETL and reducing infrastructure overhead.
