Case Study: TU/e unifies project reporting and revenue control with icCube

Bringing reporting unity for project management and revenue control

TU/e, the Technical University of Eindhoven, is a research-driven technical university with over 12,000 students, about 3,900 employees, and more than 1,200 running research projects. To better control its revenue streams, the university wanted a way to streamline project reporting, create one central reporting method, involve non-financial staff in faculties and research labs, publish dashboards on iPads, and integrate with its internal systems.

icCube worked with TU/e and partner InsideVision to build dashboards and data integrations using a Scrum-like method, with daily releases for user review. The result was one uniform reporting platform for projects, fully integrated with Oracle EBS and TU/e’s security system, with access rights down to cell granularity. According to TU/e, the platform can be accessed from any place or browser and iPad, and icCube was described as easy to install, maintain, and keep stable.
