Mondi AG modernizes IAM for 80 applications in 12 months with iC Consult

Mondi AG, a global paper and packaging company, faced the challenge of modernizing its fragmented identity structure, which included separate Microsoft and SAP accounts for employees. To create a future-proof architecture, Mondi partnered with vendor iC Consult to consolidate identities and establish a central access management platform.

iC Consult implemented a solution that migrated approximately 80 applications to a new platform featuring single sign-on and multi-factor authentication within 12 months. They established a centralized identity provider, introduced a self-service portal for application onboarding, and now operate the entire IAM platform as a highly available managed service via the Service Layers platform. This provided Mondi with enhanced security, streamlined governance, and a scalable operating model.
