A leading salty snacks brand faced the common CPG challenge of lacking trusted and timely measurement tools to understand the true impact of its promotional campaigns. To address this, the brand partnered with Ibotta and its Ibotta Performance Network (IPN) to run a campaign, the effectiveness of which was then measured by a third party.

Ibotta's campaign was evaluated by ABCS Insights using a test-versus-control methodology. The results showed the campaign generated a 9.5% incremental lift in dollar sales per household, which was 2.2 times higher than the category benchmark. Most significantly, Ibotta drove a 7.2% increase in household penetration, doubling the category norm and bringing new shoppers to the brand while also powering portfolio-wide sales growth.
