Havas Media Network, the global media arm of Havas, struggled to manage and integrate diverse environmental, audience and market research data using an on‑premise data warehouse and rigid ETL tools, which drove high development time, costs and limited parameterization and agility. To modernize their data flows, Havas turned to IBM StreamSets and its data integration platform to handle diverse formats, hundreds of APIs and cloud orchestration needs.
IBM StreamSets implemented pre-built connectors, processors and parameterized pipeline models with seamless Google Cloud integration, enabling reuse and faster pipeline creation. As a result—with IBM StreamSets—80% of pipelines were modeled, development time fell from a week to one–two days, a 20-person development effort was reduced to four developers, and overall productivity and TCO improved while Havas gained faster delivery of BI dashboards and more responsive marketing operations.
