INTRUST Bank boosts lockbox deadlines by 20% with ibml

INTRUST Bank, a regional Midwestern bank, faced a challenge when its outdated multi-function workstation scanner reached end-of-life and could not be upgraded. The bank needed a new, cost-effective scanning solution for its mission-critical lockbox and check processing that would also meet increasing customer demands for remittance data capture without requiring changes to its downstream systems. They turned to vendor ibml for an intelligent data capture solution.

The ibml solution, which included capture software and ImageTracDS desktop scanners, was implemented in Spring 2016. The results were significant: a 20% increase in meeting delivery deadlines, a 20% increase in scanned document volume without added staff, and a 4.5% reduction in staff overtime. The solution also provided better image quality, eliminated bottlenecks, and allowed the bank to purchase three scanners for the cost of one from their previous provider.
