Case Study: Tetherfi achieves cloud expansion and hybrid delivery with IBM Cloud and Red Hat OpenShift

A IBM Case Study

Preview of the Tetherfi Case Study

With updated offerings, Tetherfi helps its clients set the pace on their cloud journey

Tetherfi, a Singapore-based provider of customer service technologies for banking, financial services and insurance, needed to update its on-premises software offerings so it could respond to a major RFP from a cloud-focused customer. To keep pace with enterprise demand and security concerns, Tetherfi began looking for help to move its applications to the cloud and build a hybrid delivery model.

Working with IBM and IBM Cloud, Tetherfi reworked its portfolio with Red Hat OpenShift, containers, microservices and Kafka so its solutions could run on-premises or in the cloud. IBM helped accelerate deployment, including for its Secure Work From Home offering, and the company now delivers about 40% of its solutions through the hybrid model, while also expanding into new markets and geographies, including Asia and the US.
