Winning new customers with enterprise-class backup solutions at SME prices

QD, a managed services provider based in Sweden, faced the challenge of managing multiple backup solutions after a recent merger. QD implemented IBM Spectrum Protect, an enterprise-grade data protection and recovery solution, with the help of an IBM business partner. This single platform drastically simplified their operations. The results were significant: a 40% reduction in management effort, a 34% decrease in disk space requirements due to deduplication, and a 25% decrease in operational costs. IBM's solution enabled QD to offer enterprise-class backup services at competitive, fixed monthly prices, strengthening their market position.
