Vision Media, a trusted digital screening and awards marketing platform for major film and TV studios, needed a faster way to upload and securely deliver very large video files to awards voters under tight seasonal deadlines. Its existing FTP-based process could take more than 28 hours for a 100 GB feature film, creating risk as awards submissions grew and content volumes surged.

IBM, working with IBM Business Partner PacGenesis, helped Vision Media integrate IBM Aspera into its secure streaming workflow to speed ingestion and transfer while maintaining strict security controls. The implementation was completed in 30 days and cut 100 GB uploads to about 10 minutes, delivering more than 100x faster transfers and helping studios meet deadlines with less waiting and more reliable secure screening delivery.
