Using IBM API Connect to integrate on- and off-premises solutions

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) needed a way to help customers move faster in a world where new cloud capabilities must be deployed and scaled quickly, while still keeping some systems and data on premises. IBM API Connect, formerly IBM API Management, was used to support TCS’s hybrid cloud approach and securely integrate on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

IBM API Connect enabled Tata Consultancy Services to connect on- and off-premises environments more efficiently, giving companies the flexibility to keep control of critical systems while taking advantage of cloud innovation such as Watson and other cognitive services. The result was a more practical hybrid cloud model that helped customers stay competitive and leverage the latest services without fully moving everything to the cloud.
