A IBM Case Study
Moneytree K.K., a Tokyo-based financial technology company, wanted to make financial services as easy to access as smartphone apps while still protecting customer privacy. To do that, Moneytree turned to IBM Bluemix and IBM API Management, now known as IBM API Connect, to build an API-based ecosystem for its Moneytree Link platform.
IBM helped Moneytree connect customers to third-party banks, accounting software, and credit card providers through secure APIs, giving consumers control over who can access their financial data. The solution extended access to more services, monetized financial data in a privacy-respecting way, and helped Moneytree win a major agreement with Mizuho Bank to centralize multiple card and bank brands in one mobile app.
