A IBM Case Study
University of the Arts London (UAL) needed a way to showcase graduating students’ work when COVID-19 made its traditional in-person exhibitions impossible. The university turned to IBM, using Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud, to create a digital platform that could host final collections for thousands of students across its six colleges.
IBM helped UAL launch the Graduate Showcase, a flexible and resilient digital experience built in just three months with extensive stakeholder input. The site showcased work from 7,000 graduating students across 290 courses, remained available beyond graduation, and created a lasting digital catalog of student work for future employers and audiences.
