United Family Healthcare prioritizes threat protection and regulatory compliance with IBM Security QRadar SIEM

United Family Healthcare, a fast-growing hospital and clinic network in China, needed a better way to protect sensitive patient data, meet regulatory compliance requirements, and gain visibility across its distributed IT environment. Without a unified security operations platform, its teams struggled to detect and manage threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and risky employee behavior. IBM Security QRadar SIEM was selected to help address these challenges.

IBM implemented QRadar SIEM along with add-ons such as QRadar User Behavior Analytics and QRadar Network Insights, enabling centralized monitoring, automated reporting, and faster investigations. The solution was deployed in less than a month and helped UFH detect and contain a ransomware incident in 30 minutes, down from days, while reducing event processing and reporting from weeks to one day. IBM also helped UFH improve enterprise-wide visibility, lower alarms and risks year over year, and strengthen overall security awareness.
