Transforming the financial landscape with robust, security-rich services on IBM Cloud

Eurobits, a European pioneer in banking account-aggregation services serving major banks across 17 countries, needed a more flexible, scalable and security‑rich platform to support rapid international growth, comply with in‑country data rules and modernize its API delivery for a broader range of clients. To achieve this, Eurobits selected IBM and IBM Cloud as its strategic vendor and platform.

IBM migrated Eurobits’ production and DR environments to IBM Cloud using bare‑metal servers and VMware on IBM Cloud, deployed IBM API Connect to publish an API marketplace, and adopted IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service for containerized microservices. The move grew Eurobits’ cloud footprint from about 30 VMs to ~50 VMs, supports ~400 bank connectors, enables in‑country deployments for compliance, opens a new market of smaller clients through a pay‑as‑you‑consume API model, and gives the company the capacity to handle client surges of 10–20× with faster recovery, lower downtime and reduced cost of ownership — all delivered with IBM’s support.
