The Climate Service embeds climate change into financial decisions

The Climate Service wanted to embed climate risk data into financial decision-making, but needed to scale its Climanomics platform to handle growing demand, improve user experience, and modernize its architecture and data management. To do this, The Climate Service worked with IBM through an IBM Garage experience, using IBM Cloud and Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud.

IBM helped The Climate Service define an MVP, run collaborative design and architecture workshops, and then build and modernize the platform with a hybrid cloud architecture. The result was improved usability for clients, more sophisticated integrations, and streamlined workflows, enabling The Climate Service to scale its climate risk analytics platform and better support decision-makers.
