Techwave Hungary needed more capacity, scalability, and reliability to support growing demand for next-generation SAP workloads such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/4HANA. Working with IBM, the company looked to expand its managed services platform so it could deliver high-performance SAP services while keeping costs competitive and meeting strict service-level requirements.

IBM helped Techwave Hungary build a more scalable virtual private cloud using IBM Power Systems E950 servers, IBM FlashSystem storage, PowerVM, and PowerVC on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications. The result was a highly resilient environment that saved about 1,000 person-hours per year in systems management, improved high availability, and enabled cost-efficient growth with the flexibility to scale SAP and non-SAP workloads quickly.
