Tabicel, a Mexican precast concrete manufacturer, needed to support a three-year growth and sustainability plan but was held back by a slow, costly, and inflexible infrastructure running its SAP Business One environment. IBM migrated Tabicel’s SAP Business One to SoftLayer and provided monitoring, security and management services, delivering a scalable, high-performance platform. As a result, Tabicel cut monthly infrastructure costs by 50% (about USD 25,000), saved an additional USD 3,000 a month in IT costs, improved application performance and response times by 80%, and increased sales productivity by 30%.
