Case Study: Tabadul achieves faster, scalable digital transformation with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration

A IBM Case Study

Preview of the Tabadul Case Study

Tabadul ushers in a new era when it migrates to microservices

Tabadul, a Saudi logistics technology provider behind the Fasah import/export information exchange platform, needed a more scalable, flexible, and high-performance IT environment to support Saudi Vision 2030 and faster digital growth. Its legacy, third-party-hosted monolithic setup limited visibility, control, and speed of change, prompting Tabadul to work with IBM on a modernization effort.

IBM helped Tabadul migrate to a microservices architecture using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, with App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, and DataPower Gateway, alongside CI/CD and Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure. The new environment improved scalability and uptime, and cut development time for small features from at least four weeks to about ten days, with a target of one week—roughly a two-thirds reduction.
