A Fortune 100 Global Pharmaceuticals Company needed to securely and efficiently manage a growing mix of IoT, wearables, and other nonstandard mobile devices without increasing IT overhead. Using IBM® MaaS360® with Watson, the company sought a way to streamline support for these devices while maintaining security, privacy, and productivity across its global operations.

IBM helped the company expand its MaaS360 with Watson environment into a centralized, security-rich hub for mobile device management, creating automated workflows for nonstandard devices and integrating them into a single UEM portal. The result was faster self-service enrollment in 5–15 minutes, support for about 82,000 devices, and lower operational costs while enabling new business initiatives without compromising security.
