Spendrups streamlines its brewing with IBM Maximo

Spendrups Bryggeri, Sweden’s largest brewery and beverage group, needed to improve production reliability, reduce waste, and shift from scheduled maintenance to proactive, predictive, condition-based maintenance. The company turned to IBM Maximo, with help from IBM Platinum Business Partner Epical, to better manage its equipment assets and support its sustainability goals.

IBM implemented IBM Maximo Manage, Mobile, and Scheduler across three sites, along with company-wide training and standardized maintenance practices. As a result, Spendrups gained data-driven scheduling, faster onsite troubleshooting, and better use of its maintenance team; IBM also helped the company build dashboards to measure results. The change improved maintenance efficiency, increased reliability, extended machine life, and supported lower energy use and reduced environmental impact.
