Sky Group evolves its IBM SevOne NPM deployment to meet changing needs and overcome new challenges

Sky Group, Europe’s leading media and entertainment company, needed to keep pace with rapid network growth and a shift from physical infrastructure to virtualized and cloud environments while protecting customer experience. To support this transition, Sky Group turned to IBM SevOne Network Performance Management (NPM) for broader monitoring and more advanced visibility across its expanding network.

IBM implemented SevOne NPM to provide end-to-end observability for Sky Group’s Cisco ACI-based SDN, NetFlow analytics across physical and virtual devices, and real-time streaming of performance data to Google Cloud. The result was complete visibility across more than 55,000 network devices, helping Sky Group scale efficiently, reduce hardware footprint, and spot issues before they affected users or customers.
