National University Health System (NUHS) needed to consolidate two disparate on-premises HR systems after Singapore’s public healthcare regrouping, while improving reporting, mobile access, and employee self-service. NUHS turned to IBM Consulting and SAP SuccessFactors to replace siloed processes that made HR administration and government reporting slow and cumbersome.
IBM implemented a two-phase cloud HR transformation, integrating SAP SuccessFactors with existing payroll and other on-premises systems, adding secure mobile access, and supporting the rollout with IBM Application Management Services for Hybrid Cloud. The project was completed in 10 months on time and on budget, and the new platform achieved strong adoption: more than 13,000 employees logged in at launch, 12,000 activated the mobile app, and mobile take-up rose above 90%, helping NUHS streamline HR workflows and improve productivity.
