A IBM Case Study

Preview of the Siemens Case Study

Siemens strengthens its position as a global employer of choice

Siemens needed to modernize its fragmented human capital management environment to support its global digital transformation, reduce rising HR complexity and costs, and improve the employee and manager experience. To do this, Siemens engaged IBM Services and Workday, aiming to replace disparate on-premises HR systems with a unified, cloud-based solution.

IBM implemented Workday Human Capital Management, including Absence Management, Compensation, and Talent Management, using a global template and a phased rollout approach. The result is live deployment in 35 countries, giving more than 40,000 employees access to HR self-services, with plans to extend to over 100,000 employees globally within 24 months and achieve lower HCM costs, faster rollouts, and a better HR experience.
