SherloQ puts AI at marketers’ fingertips

SherloQ, a Boston-based marketing, advertising, and technology company, needed a way to overcome the growing limits of third-party data and better understand how people actually searched for its clients’ products and services. Working with IBM and IBM Watson, SherloQ set out to make websites more intelligent and turn first-party website interactions into actionable marketing insight.

IBM helped SherloQ build an AI Smart Core using IBM Watson Machine Learning, Watson Studio, Watson Natural Language Understanding, and Watson Natural Language Classifier. The solution captured and scored leads in real time, improved attribution and compliance, and fed better conversion data back into ad platforms. Results included a 98% sales increase for an HVAC customer in three months and a rise in click-to-lead conversion for a law firm from an industry average of 6.98% to as high as 46.75%.
