Seismic advances meeting summarization and content recommendations capabilities with watsonx

Seismic, the global leader in enablement, wanted to help customers quickly capture and share insights from fast-paced meetings, but needed a way to improve meeting summarization and content recommendations. To advance this effort, Seismic partnered with IBM and used IBM watsonx.ai to build and refine an enterprise-grade generative AI solution for processing meeting transcripts and supporting collaboration tools.

IBM worked with Seismic to develop a minimum viable product, improve transcript chunking and processing, embed AI more seamlessly into the platform, and provide Terraform support plus developer enablement. As a result, Seismic gained enhanced meeting summarization and recommendation capabilities with better performance and easier integration with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex, while also laying the groundwork for future IBM-powered use cases such as GenAI search and natural language to SQL.
