SegurCaixa Adeslas, a leading Spanish health insurer, needed to modernize its on-premises IBM API Connect v5 platform as its digital transformation accelerated API development and increased demand for scalability, security, high availability, and better integration with DevOps and QA tools.
IBM helped SegurCaixa Adeslas migrate to IBM API Connect v10 using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration on OpenShift in its Private Cloud. The new platform streamlined API deployment, improved flexibility and resilience, and enabled faster innovation; today it handles 4.7 million API calls per day, peaks at 110 calls per second, and has migrated around 270 APIs across more than 100 applications.
