To keep serving customers and support its omnichannel business, the company turned to IBM Sterling Order Management software from IBM to improve inventory visibility, order handling, and fulfillment.
IBM helped Sally Beauty Holdings implement ship-from-store, same-day delivery, BOPIS, and other fulfillment capabilities on IBM Cloud, with support from IBM Business Partner Perficient. The rollout enabled 2,700 U.S. stores to act as fulfillment centers in three weeks, led to more than two million ship-from-store shipments, and helped increase sales by 540%, while also improving scalability and customer satisfaction.
