Cogniware, a Czech-based investigation platform provider for law enforcement and financial institutions, needed to reduce manual tagging and analysis in its Argos system, which was slowing investigations and limiting scalability. Working with IBM, the company set out to make the platform more accessible for nontechnical investigators while improving accuracy and handling large volumes of unstructured data.
IBM helped Cogniware integrate IBM watsonx.ai and IBM watsonx.data into Argos, adding NLP, machine learning, and generative AI for real-time analysis and natural-language querying. The result was a 60% faster data processing and analysis rate and a 50% increase in user accessibility, with some complex fraud cases solved in days instead of months.
