Fiserv, a financial services technology provider, needed to simplify and automate IT security management across its IBM AIX environment. Its administrators were spending hours hardening servers to meet PCI, SOX-Cobit, and CIS benchmarks and manually checking compliance on individual machines. IBM PowerSC was selected to help centralize and streamline this process.

IBM implemented IBM PowerSC Standard Edition across Fiserv’s IBM Power Systems estate, enabling one-click policy deployment, real-time compliance monitoring, and automated reporting. The solution reduced manual maintenance work, allowed instant remediation of configuration issues, and was expected to save dozens of hours during audits, while also cutting hours from server setup and compliance checks.
