Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, the global beverage company behind Coca-Cola bottling across 29 markets, needed better data transparency and consistency to improve procurement decisions and uncover value in spend data. Working with IBM Consulting, CCEP sought AI-powered analytics to support sourcing, supplier management, and faster baseline creation for procurement optimization.

IBM implemented IBM Procurement Analytics as a Service, supported by IBM Consulting and later IBM watsonx pilots, to give CCEP deeper visibility into direct and indirect spend. The solution helped CCEP classify and analyze more than 98% of spend, expand indirect procurement catalogue coverage to 60%, and achieve more than USD 40 million in overall business benefits, including USD 5 million in annual cost and avoidance savings.
