OVERBLIQ platform speeds and simplifies mobile app development with IBM Cloud

Sisyfos Digital AB helps businesses, cities, and attractions create interactive mobile apps, but found that app development was slow, complex, and expensive after building a custom app for Wenngarn Castle. To solve this, Sisyfos turned to IBM Cloud and its OVERBLIQ platform to give customers a faster way to launch content-rich mobile apps without having to build infrastructure themselves.

Using IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service and multiple IBM Cloud managed services, IBM helped Sisyfos host and scale OVERBLIQ as a SaaS offering. The result was about 50% faster app development and up to 80% lower development costs versus typical in-house builds, while also supporting successful launches like the Allt för Sjön app, which reached number four in the app store on launch day.
