UOL Group, one of Singapore’s leading real estate companies, needed to speed up and improve the accuracy of data gathering and analysis across its malls, offices, and hotels. To address growing competition and aging hardware, UOL Group turned to IBM and its SAP ERP powered by SAP HANA environment on IBM Power Systems.

IBM implemented a migration of UOL Group’s core SAP applications to SAP HANA, supported by IBM Power System S824L servers, IBM Storwize storage, PowerVM virtualization, and backup and disaster recovery components. The result was a 30% performance increase, a 65% reduction in energy consumption, and a 50% saving in data center space, helping UOL Group improve productivity and delay costly expansion.
