A IBM Case Study
OKKO, Ukraine’s fuel retailer and critical infrastructure operator with more than 400 filling stations, needed stronger cybersecurity after the NotPetya attack and amid constant hacking attempts. To secure its networks, customer data, and growing digital footprint, OKKO turned to IBM and its security expertise to help design a security operations center and improve visibility across its IT environment.
IBM, working with IT Specialist, implemented the IBM Security QRadar Suite to build OKKO’s SOC and centralize threat detection and response. The result is a highly scalable, resilient security operation that monitors more than 5,000 assets, processes about 220 billion events a year, and identifies over 40,000 threats and 17,000 incidents annually; investigation times have dropped from one to two weeks to just a few days, while standard incidents are now handled in minutes.
