IBM helped DSM-firmenich build mycotoxin prediction models using global hourly weather data, long-range forecasts, geospatial analytics, and API-based intelligence from 61,000 locations worldwide. The solution enabled real-time prediction and prevention, more targeted monitoring and mitigation, and location-specific recommendations; IBM cites that this approach can help reduce crop losses by millions of euros per year and support safer, more sustainable food and feed production.
