Case Study: PVcomBank achieves faster, more efficient banking integration with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration

Modernized banking infrastructure built on Red Hat OpenShift

PVcomBank, a Vietnamese bank expanding its digital banking capabilities, needed to modernize its legacy IT infrastructure to keep up with growing customer demand and support faster digital transformation. To address this challenge, PVcomBank worked with IBM and its partner Seatech, using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration and IBM ESB on Red Hat OpenShift.

IBM deployed an agile integration platform that rearchitected data models, improved routing and communication across front-end and back-end systems, and connected cloud and on-premise applications without compromising data integrity. The result was a 20% increase in transaction processing and performance, along with 30% savings in time and resources, helping PVcomBank launch new initiatives more quickly and build a foundation for Open Banking.
