Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) - Customer Case Study

The Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) and their sister organization CASY faced the challenge of supporting a massive influx of returning National Guard personnel needing employment assistance. They required a new, specialized technology portal integrated into their existing system to efficiently help these veterans find meaningful work. To meet this need, they turned to vendor IBM and its IBM Kenexa BrassRing on Cloud platform.

IBM implemented a solution by creating two distinct gateways from the single BrassRing system: one for military spouses and another specifically for veterans and transitioning military personnel. This allowed for tailored services, including skills assessments and direct connections to corporate recruiters. The measurable results were significant; in the first year after the new portal's launch, they found employment for 3,737 National Guard personnel. Since the solution's inception, IBM's technology has helped place over 20,000 military spouses and thousands of veterans into jobs.
